Le nomination degli Emmy 2023 vedono ovviamente in testa la stagione finale di Succession, che se la vedrà con gli agguerriti The Last of Us e House of the Dragon, candidate le italiane Sabrina Impacciatore e Simona Tabasco per The White Lotus
Annunciate le nomination degli Emmy Awards 2023 da Yvette Nicole Brown e Frank Scherma.
A dominare, ovviamente, la stagione finale di Succession con 27 candidature, tallonata da The Last of Us con 24, The White Lotus con 23 e Ted Lasso con 21. Seguono La fantastica signora Maisel (anch’essa all’ultima stagione) con 14, The Bear e le miniserie Lo Scontro (Beef) e Dahmer – Mostro: la storia di Jeffrey Dahmer con 13, chiude Mercoledì con 12. Deludono invece House of the Dragon con 8 e ancor più, con sole 6 nomination a testa, The Crown, Il signore degli anelli e Stranger Things.
Tra gli attori candidato praticamente tutto il cast di Succession, di The White Lotus e di Ted Lasso, con alcune importanti aggiunte come Jenna Ortega per Mercoledì, Jeff Bridge per The Old Man e la coppia di The Last of Us, Pedro Pascal e Bella Ramsey.
La cerimonia di premiazione è fissata per il 18 settembre, ma potrebbe essere a rischio a causa degli scioperi che stanno flagellando l’industria americana (prima gli sceneggiatori poi gli attori).
