Gli MTV Movie & TV Awards ieri sono tornati in televisione, condotti da Zachary Levi e tante star. A dominare le nomination di quest’anno con quattro a testa ci sono stati Avengers: Endgame, che hanno portato a casa il premio per il miglior film della serata, e Game of Thrones, che ha vinto il premio come miglior show. Anche il documentario candidato all’Oscar RBG ha ottenuto quattro cenni, ma è stato superato dal miglior vincitore del documentario serale Surviving R. Kelly. Lo show di quest’anno ha anche presentato tre nuove categorie: reality royalty vinto da Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, il momento più memorabile The Bachelor e il miglior eroe della vita reale Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Dwayne Johnson è stata premiata con il Generation Award e Jada Pinkett Smith ha portato a casa il Trailblazer Award.
