Annunciate tutte le nomination per la 75° edizione dei Golden Globe Awards. Del Toro, Spielberg e McDonagh dominano nella categoria film, mentre per le serie tv Big Little Lies si aggiudica ben sei nomination, seguita da Feud, Fargo, The Handmaid’s Tale e This Is Us. Bene anche l’Italia.
Golden Globe Awards: la 75° edizione
Sono state finalmente annunciate in un incontro a Los Angeles, presso il Beverly Hilton Hotel, le candidature ai Golden Globe Awards, uno dei riconoscimenti più prestigiosi che ogni anno viene assegnato alle migliori uscite e interpretazioni per il grande e piccolo schermo. Vediamo insieme chi ha dominato questa 75°esima edizione!
Film
A dominare la categoria film abbiamo The Shape of Water (La forma dell’acqua) di Guillermo del Toro, che si aggiudica ben sette nomination; The Post di Steven Spielberg e Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Tre manifesti a Ebbing, Missouri), del regista Martin McDonagh, che se ne aggiudicano invece sei. Benissimo Lady Bird con quattro nomination. A seguire abbiamo Call me by your name (Chiamami con il tuo nome) dell’italiano Guadagnino, All the money in the world (Tutti i soldi del mondo) di Ridley Scott, ovviamente Dunkirk di Christopher Nolan e The Greatest Showman. Tra i candidati come miglior attore non protagonista troviamo anche Christopher Plummer, il quale ha sostituito all’ultimo Kevin Spacey, cancellato dal film di Scott a causa delle accuse di molestie sessuali che l’hanno travolto.
Serie tv
Per quanto riguarda la televisione, ad esser candidate come migliori serie dell’anno sono state la sottovalutatissima The Crown di Peter Morgan, Game of Thrones (Il Trono di Spade), The Handmaid’s Tale (Il Racconto dell’Ancella), di cui vi abbiamo tempo fa proposto la nostra recensione, Stranger Things, la serie Netflix divenuta già un cult, e This Is Us. Ma ad aggiudicarsi più nominations sono state Big Little Lies, serie firmata HBO, con sei candidature e Feud: Bette and Joan con quattro. Bene anche Fargo.
Buoni risultati per l’Italia
Quest’edizione dei Golden Globe Awards ha visto anche molte soddisfazioni per il nostro Paese. Il film di Luca Guadagnino, Call me by your name, già pluripremiato, si è aggiudicato ben tre nominations: miglior film drammatico, migliore attore protagonista a Timothée Chalamet e migliore attore non protagonista ad Armie Hammer. Anche il film di Paolo Virzì, Ella & John – The Leasure seeker, riceve una candidatura nella categoria miglior attrice protagonista per Hellen Mirren, mentre Jude Law ottiene la nomination per miglior attore protagonista di una miniserie tv per aver interpretato il giovane e conturbante Papa di The Young Pope di Paolo Sorrentino.
